Getting Started
How does Fwndly work?
Fwndly matches you with people based on what you want to DO together — not just shared bios. Swipe right on activities you're interested in (concerts, coffee, hiking, trivia nights), and Fwndly automatically groups you with 3–6 other people who picked the same thing. Then you chat, coordinate, and show up together.
Is Fwndly a dating app?
Nope. Fwndly is strictly for platonic friendship and social connection. You swipe on activities, not people. There are no romantic features, no DMs to strangers, and no profile swiping.
How do I get matched with a group?
Once you swipe right on an activity, Fwndly looks for 3–6 people in your area who want to do the same thing around the same time. When a group forms, you'll get a notification and be added to a group chat.
Account & Settings
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, activity history, and group memberships. This action cannot be undone. If you just need a break, you can pause your account instead.
Can I change my location?
Your location is used to find activities near you. You can update your location in Settings → Profile → Location. Fwndly only uses your city-level location — not your precise GPS coordinates.
How do I update my interests?
Go to Settings → My Interests to add or remove activity categories. Your swipe history also helps Fwndly learn what you actually enjoy.
Do I have to choose a gender on my profile?
No. Fwndly is activity-first and behavior-first. Your profile focuses on name, age, photos, bio, interests, and personality signals so people can decide fit through shared activities and real meetup behavior.
I forgot my password — what do I do?
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
Groups & Activities
What if I can't make it to a group event?
Let your group know as early as possible in the group chat. You can also leave the group through the chat settings. Repeated no-shows without notice may affect your match priority.
How many people are in a group?
Groups range from 3 to 6 people. This size is intentional — big enough to feel social, small enough to actually get to know everyone.
Can I invite my own friends?
Not currently — Fwndly groups are formed automatically to help you meet new people. If you want to plan something with existing friends, that's what group chats and other apps are for. We're here to help you expand your circle.
Premium & Billing
What's included in Fwndly Premium?
Premium unlocks Smart Suggestions (AI-powered activity recommendations based on your history), Explorer Mode (activities outside your usual interests), and priority grouping so you match faster.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). To cancel: iOS → Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Fwndly. Android → Google Play → Subscriptions → Fwndly → Cancel.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google depending on where you purchased. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support directly for billing disputes.

Making friends should be exciting, not stressful. Follow these basics.
Meet in public first
Your first meetup should always be in a public, well-lit place with other people around. Cafes, parks, and event venues are great.
Share your plans
Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you'll be with before any Fwndly meetup.
Trust your gut
If something feels off, leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation. Your safety always comes first.
Arrange your own transport
Drive yourself or use a rideshare for the first few meetups. Don't rely on people you just met for rides home.
Keep personal info private
Don't share your home address, workplace, or financial information with people you've just met through the app.
Report anything concerning
Use the in-app report button on any profile or message. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.

Be respectful and kind — everyone is here to make friends, not connections.
Show up when you commit. Your group is counting on you.
Keep conversations in the group chat relevant to the planned activity.
Report bad behavior instead of retaliating.
No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
No soliciting, promoting businesses, or spamming group chats.
No sharing other members' information outside the app.
No romantic advances — this is a friendship platform.
Violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent ban without refund.
